About Me
Through my experience in Game Design, I found myself incredibly fond of game narrative, particularly through the lens of player engagement, agency, and emergence. Games are a critical aspect of modern culture, impacting cultural and identity development. So, through design, I strive to represent lived human experiences to promote an inclusion, diversity, and equity.
Narrative is about connection. By sincerely representing emotions and experiences, we can foster true communication. As a writer, I aim to communicate with the audience in their experiences while representing my own. At the crossroads of these experiences lies the chance to make a meaningful impact to the audience.
While sincere expression is a necessity in narrative, perhaps most crucial is providing the audience with their own voice to express themselves and reflect on their own experience. As such, narrative does not exist in isolation, but rather as a core aspect of human connection. In everything I write, regardless of the medium, I hope to welcome the audience into a conversation about their own experiences, creating an inclusive space to connect with ourselves.
